Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding photoshoots?
Yes. Engagement photography sessions are a great way for couples to become comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. These sessions can be arranged across Hampshire and surrounding locations. One hours engagement photography with 20+ high resolution, hand edited images via download link costs just £140.
What if we're nervous about having our photos taken?
Don't worry. Most couples tell us they're not comfortable in front of the camera. We use a relaxed and natural approach to wedding photography, helping you feel at ease while capturing genuine moments and authentic emotions. On your wedding day, I'm not just your photographer. I'm the calming presence during the morning preparations, the dress straightener before you walk down the aisle, the confetti organiser, the timeline keeper and the friendly face making sure you're comfortable every step of the way. Many of my couples tell me it feels less like hiring a wedding photographer and more like having a trusted friend by their side. Someone who genuinely cares about their day, keeps things running seamlessly behind the scenes and helps them feel completely at ease in front of the camera. By building a genuine connection with every couple, I'm able to capture natural, authentic moments that tell the real story of your wedding day.
Do you take natural and candid wedding photos?
Absolutely. My style blends documentary wedding photography with beautifully guided portraits. We focus on capturing real moments, natural interactions and the emotions that make your wedding day unique. One thing I hear time and time again from my couples is "We didn't even realise you were there!"
My approach to wedding photography is natural, relaxed and unobtrusive. Rather than constantly directing or staging moments, I blend into the background and quietly document your day as it unfolds. Think of me as your wedding photography ninja, always in the right place at the right time, capturing genuine emotions, laughter, happy tears and all those little moments you might otherwise miss.
By staying discreet, your guests can relax and be themselves, allowing me to create authentic photographs that truly reflect your wedding day. The result is a collection of natural, storytelling images filled with real memories rather than forced poses. Of course, when it's time for family photographs or couple portraits, I'll gently step in with clear guidance and direction. The rest of the day? You'll hardly notice me, but you'll be amazed by the moments I've captured.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
As experienced UK wedding photographers, I am always prepared for unpredictable English weather. Rain can create beautiful, romantic photographs and we'll work with your venue to find stunning indoor and sheltered locations if needed. I also love umbrellas and these can make for wonderful props for your wedding day. Stormy clouds, dark skies, puddles and rain really can create some wonderful and dramatic images. Don’t forget without rain we cant have rainbows!
Can we provide a list of family group photos?
Yes. I encourage couples to provide a list of important family group photographs before the wedding day. This helps ensure no important images are missed. I normally ask the best man or maid of honour to help me gather the friends and family on the list. I do suggest you limit the group photos to a maximum of 10-15 different groups, trust me, your guests will thank you for it. You want to enjoy your day and not spend hours standing for photos.
Do you help with creating a wedding photography timeline?
Yes. I can offer advice on your wedding day schedule to ensure there is enough time for bridal preparation photos, family groups, couple portraits and all the key moments without feeling rushed.
Are our wedding photos professionally edited?
Yes. Every final image is individually hand edited to ensure consistent colour, lighting and quality while maintaining a natural and timeless look. I do not use AI at all.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. I offer professionally designed wedding albums that provide a beautiful way to preserve and share your wedding memories for years to come. Just ask for more details.
